Morning arrival in Bridgetown, BarbadosMorning arrival in Bridgetown, Barbados

It’s so nice to see the azure seas of the Caribbean.  It was a little overcast as the Prisendam arrived, but another Carnival ship soon made its way into the port, too.  I’m off shortly for a ride on the Atlantis Odyssey Submarine.  It submerses up to 150 feet, and I hope to get some good underwater photographs.

P.S.  I didn’t post yesterday, but I’ve begun the packing process!  There are only two more ports of call on the itinerary:  Roseau, Dominica and St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands (a substitute for the hard hit Tortola).

The Prisendam was docked and in place when the Carnival ship arrived.

It's a little hazy this morning, but it would be a great day to be on a boat.

A few people were on the beach in the early morning hours.  Note the paddle boarder to the right bottom corner.

Note to self:  It looks like the Hilton is in a prime location in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The Prisendam is at the container port, but the marina is right around from us.
