Next trip is Northern Europe and Iceland this summer…

My Grand Asia trip was a bust with my injured/infected toe.  I will be making a trip I had arranged two years ago to Northern Europe and Iceland this summer from Amsterdam.  It’s a little shorter in duration (about a month).

I’ve also made plans to make up for portions I missed on the Grand Asia in Fall 2019 and Winter 2020.  That’s possible because I had trip insurance which gave me a refund of my interrupted voyage.  Trip insurance is a good thing and is worth the expense!

Here’s the itinerary of my trip I will take in late summer to celebrate my reentry into retirement.

This  trip was originally scheduled to be on the ms Prinsendam; however, HAL sold the ship after my South America voyage.  The ms Prinsendam officially moves to the new company on July 1, 2019.  This itinerary was then scheduled to be a voyage on the ms Rotterdam.  The Rotterdam is the sister ship of the Amsterdam so it will be familiar to me.  I already arranged my excursions, and I'm doing a day-trip to Moscow.
