I'm not superstitious, so I hope this doesn't jinx my upcoming trip from Boston to Newfoundland, Greenland, and Iceland.
I haven't been on a cruise since 2019 right before the pandemic. It departed from NYC and sailed to Montreal. Little did I know what would soon happen world-wide. I have been through lots of cancellations and rebookings since then.
This cruise takes me to a new area to explore. I've been busy getting prepared by shopping for cold weather (and rainy) attire on Amazon. It's my understanding that August is one of the warmer months to travel to the region, but the temperature in Greenland and Iceland in August is rather cool.
I depart in August for the 28-day roundtrip cruise. No visas to get, but I have to have the pre-trip Covid test. I'm also all vaccinated with boosters for Covid which is required.
