I took a day to visit the main sites on this beautiful island. The ship docked in
Charlottetown,
PEI. I was soon off to visit the
Confederation Bridge (they charge $45 when you leave the island via the bridge), the home of author/setting for the "
Anne of Green Gables" books, and visited the beautiful beaches and dunes of the Gulf of the St. Lawrence on the Atlantic Ocean.

| The Confederation Bridge connects PEI with the mainland of Canada. It's a 9 mile long toll road/bridge and the charge when you leave the island ($45.50 per car). |
