Sailing away from Castro, Chile...

A few photos as we prepare to sail away from Castro, Chile...

The Silver Seas arrived after we did this morning.  It's rare, according to our guide, for Castro to have two ships in port at once.

The waters across from Castro are full of nets.  Fish farming, primarily salmon, trout, and mussels, are raised in these waters.  The captain said the chef had obtained some of the local salmon for tomorrow night's dinner.

It was such a beautiful day that many locals went to the beach.  It was in the mid-70s today, and locals take advantage of sunny days.

The final tender leaves the dock and returns to the ship.  Next stop will be Punta Arenas, Chile, on Saturday.
