Farewell, Tahiti … Next Stop is Bora Bora

There's only a narrow channel in the reef to allow ships to enter the port.
You can see evidence of the reef from the breaking waves.
The ship's staff and guests bid farewell to Tahiti. and I had a little camera trouble.  The camera was in my air-conditioned cabin and the difference in temperature outside caused the lens to fog up.

The port of Tahiti is a little different in that there is only a very small space through the reef to navigate.  The ship also has to have clearance from air traffic control because it is in the path of the airport runway.

So long, Tahiti.  The ship is scheduled to arrive in Bora Bora around 7 AM Monday.

The ships entering/exiting the harbor must be cleared by air traffic control since it is in the path of the airport.
