As I write this blog entry, the ship is about halfway to Iceland from Greenland. It's a sea day and I will be attending a lecture on fjords and glaciers by a retired scientist from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The time difference between our location and the east coast of the USA is 3 hours. The ship's clocks will more forward an additional hour to be in sync with Iceland time (4 hours difference from the eastern USA).
