Arrival in Fortaleza, Brazil

The final stop before entering the Amazon River Basin is Fortaleza, Brazil (Brazil's 5th largest city).  It’s a city of over 3 million with high-rise apartments overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  It’s a little distinctive in that it has a northeastern Brazilian “country-style” of music and dance.  I’m off to see the very best of the city on my tour today.

Wind power is being used, and I see several generators along the coast.

I'm not sure what this building is, but it is near the port area.
