Transfer of the local pilot

The local pilot provides guidance as the ship navigates local waters.  Here are my photos as we left Dublin yesterday.  I recorded the transfer of the local pilot back to his boat from the ms Prisendam.

The pilot boat follows us as we move through the Liffey River (Dublin Harbor)

The ship is moving from the river harbor to the Irish Sea.

The pilot boat moves next to our ship for the transfer.

The local pilot made the jump and locks into the rail.

After the transfer, the ship moves away from our ship.

The pilot makes it around and enters the cabin of the pilot ship.
